Battlefield 2142 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and produced by Electronic Arts (EA). It is the fourth game in the Battlefield series. BF2142 is set in the 22nd century, during a new ice age which sees two military superpowers – the European Union (EU) and Рan Asian Coalition (PAC) – battle for survival.

Battlefield 2142 includes two gameplay modes, Conquest and Titan,[3] the latter of which can only be played online in multiplayer maps (without using mods). Both modes support varying numbers of players, up to 64, depending upon the server a player chooses to join online. The single player mode consists of a maximum of 16 players, which includes 15 AI bots.
